A spicy, aromatic winter ale with a rich buttery malt character, and the delicate essences of nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla found throughout it. The trick to spiced beers is NOT to overdo the spices, and this achieves a wonderful balance between spices and true beer character. Slightly higher in alcohol (to enhance the winter festivities!), this beer should be brewed by September to really be in prime form for Christmas.
