A true to style Scottish, everyday, pub style drinking beer, (this beer is NOT similar to Mac Tarnahan's, which is actually an American Amber). This is a rich, malty, caramel, toasty beer with very little hop presence, either in the flavor or in the bitterness. It has a malt based aroma, and lots of malt body with a slight lingering sweetness and a just above threshold smokiness. A great cold weather brew.
We will crush all the grains, unless otherwise requested at checkout.
Recipe kits do not come with grain socks/hop socks, or corn sugar for bottling.
